[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Hyesoo] On the afternoon of the 15th, MBC's 'Save Me! Homes' aired a segment where Soyoujin searched for properties in the southern part of Gyeonggi Province alongside Yang Sehyung.
When they first met that day, Yang Sehyung asked Soyoujin, "How should I address you?" Then, Yang Sehyung said, "Since I am a disciple of my senior (Baek Jongwon), should I call you madam... or Mrs...?" to which Soyoujin exclaimed, "What is that!" in disgust. She then said, "Since you are younger than me, just call me nuna," which delighted Yang Sehyung. Yang Sehyung replied, "Then I'll call you noona, just for today," receiving Soyoujin's approval.
Team Bok's Yang Sehyung and Soyoujin took on a request from triplet sisters to find a property in southern Gyeonggi Province. The first property they visited was surrounded by numerous convenience facilities, and notably, it was only a 10-minute commute to the workplace of the triplets' second sister. The 'Jeokbyeok Jeokbyeok House' property No. 1 featured a brick exterior as its highlight. The sale price was 300 million KRW.
Additionally, property No. 1 caught attention with its numbered designated parking spaces. The parking area allowed at least one car per household, which was a notable feature. The interior was also finished with bricks, giving it a unique charm, and the revolving shoe rack at the entrance especially earned points from the panelists. Furthermore, the living room used three materials?brick, cypress wood, and polished tiles?each creating a distinct atmosphere.
The kitchen came with an induction cooktop and microwave as options, and two-step built-in touch outlets were installed. The separated sink table apart from the cooking counter was considered a strong advantage. Soyoujin said, "I recently changed the interior and removed the sofa. Instead, I placed a large dining table in the living room to chat with my family." The panelists agreed that this was a current trend.
Meanwhile, Team Deok's Noh Hongchul went out to view houses with Shin Daeun and Lim Seongbin.
Upon entering the entrance of property No. 1, Shin Daeun covered her mouth and showed a broad smile, earning the panelists' comment of a "genuine reaction." The entrance of the Girls on Top House property No. 1 captivated attention from the start with its luxurious white-tone interior. The living room they entered next boasted a ceiling height so high it made the panelists tilt their heads in admiration. Entering the grand and splendid living room reminiscent of a palace, Shin Daeun was left speechless again after the entrance.
Team Deok emphasized that the living room walls featured wainscoting, which Soyoujin challenged by saying, "If you coat that, don't you have to clean it all?" However, when she saw the floor-to-ceiling windows that allowed a full view of the outside scenery, she gasped, drawing a playful critique from Boom. The panelists also gasped upon learning that the pink kitchen and wooden dining table were included as options.
Every time the Girls on Top House appeared on screen, Soyoujin couldn't hide her genuine reactions, prompting Boom to say, "I'll just take the reactions," and Yang Sehyung to request, "Please manage your expressions," which caused laughter.
The bathroom of the Girls on Top House showcased sophistication with blue tiles and gold accents. While going up the stairs to the second floor, the stair sensor lights revealed the homeowner's meticulous consideration. At the rooftop reached after climbing to the end of the stairs, there was a rooftop where one could fully enjoy nature, captivating the panelists. The sale price was 355 million KRW.
While viewing Team Deok's property No. 1, Team Bok's Yang Sehyung and Park Narae exchanged glances saying, "It's so nice," and "Really great." The rooftop also included a barbecue grill as an option, which left Park Narae speechless. The 28-minute distance to the client's workplace was another big merit. Above all, since the triplet sisters, the clients, wanted a unique communal space, the Girls on Top House perfectly matched their needs.
Team Bok's property No. 2 was Bonggu's Terrace House. As a detached house, its large front yard was a major advantage, allowing for various uses such as pitching a tent or gardening. Inside, a spacious yet cozy living room and a kitchen decorated in white were revealed. Notably, there was a folding door in the middle of the living room, which, when opened, made the living room appear twice as large. The subtle indirect lighting also contributed to the gallery-like atmosphere of the house.
Going up the stairs led to a cozy and scenic balcony, expected to perfectly suit the client's preference for a unique space. The sale price of Bonggu's Terrace House was 390 million KRW.
Team Deok's property No. 2 was the Threeppa House. It featured glass sliding doors that allowed appropriate separation and openness of spaces. The beige-toned bathroom had a bathtub suitable for half-body baths, which received great responses from the panelists. Especially, the indirect lighting arranged diagonally made the space appear larger.
While touring the Threeppa House, Lim Seongbin repeatedly expressed amazement, emphasizing, "This house looks much bigger than its size." Above all, the fact that all sides were made of glass played a major role in the house's openness. Once again, Team Bok acknowledged that Team Deok's property was unique and good. The sale price of this house was 370 million KRW.
With each team presenting two properties, Team Bok declared, "Don't be surprised at the next property," while Team Deok also hinted at a larger scale, saying, "There is something tremendous."
