[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Park Hee-eun] Kwon Nara from 'Itaewon Class' expressed the emptiness in her life, which she has pursued for success, and sensed Park Seo-joon's change of heart.
In the 14th episode of JTBC's Friday-Saturday drama 'Itaewon Class' aired on the 14th, the scene where Oh Soo-ah (played by Kwon Nara) meets Park Sae-ro-yi (played by Park Seo-joon) was broadcast.
Oh Soo-ah began, "A nice car, a nice house, a comfortable life without needing anyone's help, I dreamed of that since I was young." She continued, "But how should I put it, lately I feel strange. It's definitely the life I wanted, but it's kind of empty," revealing the emptiness she feels about her life spent running only toward success.
Also, Oh Soo-ah tested Sae-ro-yi's feelings by asking, "Is the time left for making me unemployed running out?" referring to Sae-ro-yi, who franchised Danbam Pocha. Park Sae-ro-yi was silent for a while after the question, and Oh Soo-ah said pitifully with anxious eyes, "Do you still like me? Say you like me."
When Jo Yi-seo happened to witness the two talking, Park Sae-ro-yi tried to follow Yi-seo. Soo-ah then grabbed him, saying, "Do you like Yi-seo? It's been 15 years. You have to make me unemployed. You have to like me." Then she smiled and said, "Sorry, just kidding. There's a shareholders' meeting tomorrow, how can you leave like that? Go quickly. I'll contact you later."
Through this scene, Kwon Nara received praise from viewers for portraying Oh Soo-ah, whose self-pity grew after being abandoned by her mother in the past.
Meanwhile, 'Itaewon Class' airs every Friday and Saturday at 10:50 PM.
