[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Park Hee-eun] Kim Sin-young revealed the painful reason why she came to enjoy joking around, drawing attention.

On the 14th broadcast of MBC’s Omniscient Interfering View, Kim Sin-young and her manager Jung Kyu-sung appeared. The two have known each other for over 10 years and showed a cheerful relationship.

Kim Sin-young joked with her manager, who had arrived for a radio schedule, saying, "I’m currently abroad," to which the manager replied, "I’m abroad too, picking you up." Their continuous exchange of lies, with neither being fooled, brought laughter to the studio.

Especially, Kim Sin-young and her manager were even more cheerful when playing pranks on others. They teamed up to prank a radio writer on their way to work, creating a lively atmosphere on set.

Regarding this, Kim Sin-young recalled her past experience with panic disorder, explaining, “I started joking around to escape from an endlessly deep depression. As I began joking like in my brighter days, I felt myself becoming cheerful again.” She described joking as the driving force behind overcoming her panic disorder.

The manager reportedly warmed those around them by volunteering as a ‘5-minute standby’ whenever Kim Sin-young was not feeling well, closely supporting her through her panic disorder recovery.

Meanwhile, the 95th episode of Omniscient Interfering View aired that day recorded a 6.9% household viewership rating in the Seoul metropolitan area, ranking first among entertainment programs in the same time slot.
