'Hangout with Yoo' Yoo Jae-suk Records Duet Song 'Ibyeol-ui Beoseu Jeongryujang' with Song Ga-in

[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Hyesoo] On the 14th, Yoo Jae-suk appeared as a trot duet with Song Ga-in on MBC's 'How Do You Play?'.

On that day’s 'How Do You Play?', Yoo Jae-suk met composer Yoon Myung-sun and prepared for Yusanseul's comeback. While exchanging ideas with Yoon Myung-sun, Song Ga-in made a surprise visit, and Yoo Jae-suk warmly welcomed her. Yoo Jae-suk and Song Ga-in expressed regret that there are hardly any duets in the trot scene and decided to join forces.

Afterwards, they each led busy lives, and Yoon Myung-sun and Yoo Jae-suk met again in the studio. In the studio were composer Algoboni Honsusangtae and Kim Jaehwan, who shared an anecdote about hearing Park Hyun-bin’s 'Shabang Shabang', composed before his military enlistment, while in the army, which amazed everyone.

Next, the four of them, having practiced Yoon Myung-sun’s unique vocal exercises together, began the full arrangement of 'The Bus Stop of Parting'. When Yoo Jae-suk entered the recording studio, he was startled to see a harp there. Yoon Myung-sun wanted to give a fresh feeling and gave Yoo Jae-suk various instructions. Yoo Jae-suk, complaining "What am I supposed to do with this?", quickly performed skillfully according to the orders from Yoon Myung-sun and Algoboni Honsusangtae, impressing everyone.

Seeing Yoo Jae-suk’s skill, Yoon Myung-sun and Algoboni Honsusangtae gradually increased the difficulty of their instructions, and Yoo Jae-suk played accordingly, completing a satisfying recording. Nevertheless, Yoo Jae-suk humbly said until the end, "I’m not a prodigy or anything."

After finishing the harp performance, Yoo Jae-suk soon began recording the song. Meanwhile, Song Ga-in arrived, and the two started recording together. Following Yoon Myung-sun’s meticulous directions checking every phrase, Yoo Jae-suk continued the recording with difficulty. Especially when doing vibrato, Yoon Myung-sun directly vibrated his uvula with his hand, causing Yoo Jae-suk to burst into laughter and complaints. After these ups and downs, Yoo Jae-suk’s special single recording was completed.
