[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Park Hee-eun] Kim Eun-hee, the screenwriter of 'Kingdom 2,' revealed key points to watch in 'Kingdom Season 2' at the production presentation and answered questions about 'Season 3.'
In the Netflix original 'Kingdom' Season 2 (screenplay by Kim Eun-hee, directed by Kim Seong-hoon), released around 4 p.m. on the 13th, the secrets of the 'Saengsayeok' and 'Saengsacho' introduced in Season 1 were unveiled.
Kim Eun-hee, who wrote the screenplay for 'Kingdom 2,' previously explained at the production presentation, "I wanted to talk about blood in Season 2," adding, "Besides red blood, the story also includes veins and lineage. I wanted to show two worlds: the Saengsayeok who crave blood and humans who seek veins and lineage."
She also attracted viewers' attention by saying, "Many of the plot points left in Season 1 will be collected."
When asked if there will be a Kingdom Season 3, she said, "It might be possible if Season 2 does well," adding, "If Season 2 succeeds, we might see a Season 3 with an even bigger universe. Personally, I hope it goes up to Season 10."
Meanwhile, 'Kingdom' is a mystery thriller that begins as Crown Prince Chang (Ju Ji-hoon) of Joseon, accused of treason after the dead king is resurrected, uncovers the secret of his son who has become a monster due to starvation.
