[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the 9th at 3 PM, Noh Hyun-song, Mayor of Gangseo-gu, attended the 'Mayor-District Heads Emergency Video Conference on COVID-19 Response' held at the Seoul City Hall Integrated Situation Room, presided over by Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon.


The meeting, attended by district heads of Seoul's autonomous districts, began with a comprehensive COVID-19 response situation report by the Director of the Seoul City Hall Citizen Health Bureau.


Following this, the Seoul City Policy Planning Officer held a briefing on the social distancing 'Pause for a Moment' policy to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and explained the current status of the response.


Mayor Noh Hyun-song urged the district officials attending the meeting to "concentrate all administrative efforts to block community transmission of COVID-19 and do their best to protect the safety of the residents."


He also said, "I ask all residents to participate in the social distancing campaign by refraining from going out and postponing various gatherings for a while."


Additionally, he stated, "Thanks to the cooperation of the residents, the two confirmed patients in our district have fully recovered and been discharged," and "Regarding the movements of our district resident recently confirmed positive in Geumcheon-gu, all disinfection measures have been completed throughout the entire route to reassure the residents."
