Inus, Spring·Summer 'Tile' Trends... "Maximalism·Detail Minimalism" A Construction Case Applying Inus' '2020 S/S Tile' Reflecting Maximalism

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] IS Dongseo announced on the 9th that its total living brand Inus has unveiled the '2020 Spring/Summer (S/S) Tile Trends.'

The proposed trends are 'Maximalism' and 'Detail Minimalism.' A total of 12 tile collections, including 'Inkstone' and 'Veined Stone,' were introduced.

Maximalism is an interior design style that expresses personal sensibility by matching diverse colors and patterns, bold decorations, and unique furniture and accessories. It is expected that 'tiles' will evolve from merely materials filling the background of a space to design elements that provide focal points within the space.

Detail Minimalism, in contrast to Maximalism, emphasizes a more natural design. In Detail Minimalism, the design highlights a bolder and more detailed expression of the natural stone itself that can be represented on tiles.

A representative from IS Dongseo Inus stated, "Consumers who consider tile design as an important focal element of interior design are increasing," adding, "We will strive to satisfy trendy consumers' demands with unique yet delicate, top-quality tiles."
