[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] HiteJinro has decided to actively participate in the nationwide expanding 'Good Landlord Movement.'

On the 9th, HiteJinro announced that it will waive rent to share the difficulties of small business owners struggling due to the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).

Accordingly, HiteJinro will fully waive rent for four months from March to June for 17 locations in Seoul, Busan, Gangwon, and Jeonju, which it owns and leases to small business owners.

Earlier, to overcome the COVID-19 crisis, HiteJinro prioritized support for Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions, designated as special management zones, by providing quarantine supplies such as masks and hand sanitizers, bottled water, and Black Barley, and donated a total of 1.2 billion KRW including funds for prevention and damage recovery.
