Anyone Can Freely Access Over 900 Past Courses Without Signing Up... One-Month Extension Added for Full Members Upon Registration
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jung Soon-gyun) operates the Internet CSAT Broadcast (hereinafter Gangnam Ingang), and due to the additional delay in school openings caused by the spread of COVID-19, it is expanding the originally planned two-week free course period from the 4th to the 31st to minimize the learning gap for middle and high school students nationwide.
Gangnam Ingang allows anyone to take all 900 middle and high school courses free of charge without any membership registration for students' convenience, and if a user registers as a full member during this period, an additional one-month course period will be provided.
For more details, inquiries can be made through the website (edu.ingang.go.kr) and the customer center (☎1577-9100).
To help students effectively engage in online self-directed learning, Gangnam Ingang also offers subject-specific study methods conducted by famous Gangnam Ingang instructors. Gangnam Ingang is the only online education site that provides the entire curriculum from middle school internal assessments to CSAT preparation, and it selects scholarship students every year. Last year, scholarships totaling 17 million won were awarded to 69 students.
Im Yi-hwa, Director of the Education Support Division, said, “We hope that Gangnam Ingang’s free courses will help alleviate the anxiety of students and parents nationwide caused by the loss of classes due to the spread of COVID-19,” and added, “We will continue to focus on creating a dignified Gangnam where I (ME), you (ME), and we (WE) are together, considerate, and respectful.”
