[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ji-hee] The first confirmed case of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) has been reported in Anseong City, Gyeonggi Province.

On the 8th, Anseong City announced that a 67-year-old woman, Ms. A, residing in Dangwang-dong, tested positive for COVID-19. The route of infection has not yet been identified.

The Anseong City Public Health Center is investigating Ms. A's movement path and will disclose the scale of contacts once confirmed.
