COVID-19 Comfort: 'Nolmeon Mwuhani' Yoo Jae-suk's Bangguseok Concert, Hyukoh and Mamma Mia Cast Join Willingly (Comprehensive)

[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Hyesoo] Yoo Jae-suk planned a Bangguseok Concert to be held with artists.

On the afternoon of the 7th, Yoo Jae-suk met with PD Kim Tae-ho on the broadcast of 'How Do You Play?' and held an item meeting. PD Kim Tae-ho proposed a 'Bangguseok Concert' held privately without an audience with artists who canceled performances or concerts due to COVID-19. Yoo Jae-suk mentioned Son Yeol-eum, who appeared in the previous episode, but since she is currently abroad due to many overseas performances, they decided to postpone it to the next opportunity.

Before recruiting artists, PD Kim Tae-ho told Yoo Jae-suk to visit someone who knows a lot about music to proceed together. Listening to PD Kim's words, Yoo Jae-suk visited none other than pianist Professor Kim Kwang-min. Yoo Jae-suk handed over flowers and asked him to co-host the 'Bangguseok Concert.'

Next, Yoo Jae-suk visited Hyukoh. Yoo Jae-suk awkwardly handed over flowers and when he asked "How have you been?" Oh Hyuk gave a long answer, to which Yoo Jae-suk laughed saying, "You talk more now. I was touched." This was because when Yoo Jae-suk first interviewed Hyukoh, he gave short answers that embarrassed Yoo Jae-suk. However, as the conversation continued, Yoo Jae-suk said, "You talk more... but the atmosphere hasn't changed," making everyone burst into laughter.

Yoo Jae-suk explained the purpose of the 'Bangguseok Concert' and asked how it sounded. All the members of the Hyukoh band readily agreed. When they answered too quickly, Yoo Jae-suk said, "That's too easy," feeling a bit empty. Then he asked, "Is there anything you want to do?" They replied that since they recently released a new song and the timing is right, they wanted to perform it.

The third place Yoo Jae-suk visited was the rehearsal room for the musical 'Mamma Mia.' Meeting with Shin Young-sook, Hong Ji-min, Park Jun-myeon, and others, Yoo Jae-suk handed over flowers and proposed that they participate in the 'Bangguseok Concert' together. Hong Ji-min, receiving Yoo Jae-suk's flowers, said happily, "Performances have been continuously canceled lately, so I haven't received flowers, but this really lifts my gloomy mood."

Also, Park Jun-myeon said he likes traveling but can't go these days, so he watches 'World Theme Travel' for vicarious satisfaction, laughing. Yoo Jae-suk expressed slight concern, asking, "Would you still be excited without an audience?" but Hong Ji-min showed a positive attitude, saying it is better than meeting the audience in the limited space of a theater.

Then Yoo Jae-suk and the 'Mamma Mia' cast spontaneously sang 'The Winner Takes It All' together. Although not perfect, they parted with lots of laughter, promising to meet next Thursday.
