[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Hanil Cement announced on the 2nd that it will launch the ‘25kg Premium Plastering Remital,’ which reduces weight while improving quality.
This product reduces the packaging unit from the existing 40kg to a smaller quantity, allowing efficient use in small-scale sites such as interior construction. It also helps prevent musculoskeletal disorders caused by the aging workforce at construction sites, making it safer for users.
While reducing the weight, the types and amounts of additives for improving characteristics have been optimized. Typically, plastering work requires more than two applications from the first coat to the finish, but this product can achieve sufficient physical properties with just one application, which the company says also shortens construction time. Hanil Cement has also completed registration of a related patent (No. 10-1862594).
A Hanil Cement official said, “We held product briefings and explanation sessions for major customers since early this year to promote the product and gather feedback,” adding, “We plan to continue developing products that meet the diverse needs of construction sites and customers to proactively address construction site issues.”
Meanwhile, Remital is Hanil Cement’s proprietary brand of dry cement mortar products, first launched domestically in 1991. It is a product that precisely measures cement, sand, and performance improvers, mixes them through advanced equipment, and supplies them to sites. At the site, it is mixed with water using automated mixers and pumps, making it an advanced building material for construction.
