[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] The Korea Institute of Design Promotion announced on the 2nd that it is recruiting companies to participate in the Style Tech Promising Companies Growth Support Program.


This recruitment is being promoted to support promising companies in the style industry sector and to create an innovation ecosystem led by design. Applications for participating companies will be accepted through the Design Promotion Institute's website until the 11th.


Style Tech is a new business that creates new value by integrating Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) into style fields like fashion and beauty. Through recruiting participating companies, the program plans to provide up to 50 million KRW worth of support per company over approximately 10 months, including ▲collaboration opportunities with large and medium-sized enterprises ▲dispatch of professional designer personnel and interns ▲opportunities to participate in demo days ▲provision of experiential exhibition spaces.


In particular, this year, Amorepacific and E-Land Retail will participate as open innovation partner companies to assist the companies selected for this program. Accelerating specialist company SparkLabs and user experience (UX) specialist company Vinyl Experience will support commercialization and business development.
