[Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Jae-hee] Turkey has decided to suspend the operation of its passenger flights traveling between Korea, Italy, and Iraq to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
According to major foreign media, Fahrettin Koca, Turkey's Minister of Health, stated, "The flight ban will begin at 12:00 AM on the 1st."
Minister Koca added that the border between Turkey and Iraq will also be closed.
Turkey has already suspended passenger flights traveling between China and Iran.
