Second COVID-19 Case in Dongjak-gu, Woman Attending Gwacheon Shincheonji Worship Service

A 60-Year-Old Woman Living in Sadang-dong, Dongjak-gu Tests Positive for COVID-19

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] The second confirmed case of COVID-19 has occurred in Dongjak-gu.

Dongjak-gu (District Mayor Lee Chang-woo) announced on the 29th that the confirmed COVID-19 patient in Dongjak-gu is Ms. B (born in 1960, female), a resident of Sadang-dong, who works in kitchen duties at the Gwacheon Police Station.

Ms. B attended a Shincheonji worship service in Gwacheon on the 16th, was tested at the Gwacheon City Public Health Center on the 28th, and received confirmation of infection on the 29th.

Ms. B is currently under self-quarantine, has completed the hospital bed allocation application, and is waiting.

She has had no outside contact since the 28th, currently shows no symptoms, and has no underlying health conditions.

Dongjak-gu stated that it will promptly disclose the confirmed patient's movement path as soon as the epidemiological investigation results from the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency are available.
