[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Lim Ju-hyung] Choo Sung-hoon, who secured his debut victory at the mixed martial arts event 'ONE Championship,' shared his thoughts through social networking service (SNS).

On the 29th (Korean time), Choo Sung-hoon posted on his Instagram, "Thanks to all of you, I won," adding, "Korea is strong, so we will definitely overcome COVID-19. I will also cheer for you."

In the photo released along with the post, Choo Sung-hoon is smiling while looking at the camera with his colleagues.

Previously, on the 28th, Choo Sung-hoon faced Shefir Mohamed (35, Egypt) in the ONE Championship middleweight (under 84kg) match held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

In the early stages of the match, Choo Sung-hoon struggled against Mohamed's aggressive takedown attempts. However, around 3 minutes and 5 seconds, after evading Mohamed's attack, he landed a right-hand straight punch to the face, securing a TKO victory.

With this, Choo Sung-hoon achieved his first win in 5 years and 5 months since the UFC event held in Saitama, Japan, in September 2014.
