[Asia Economy Reporter Minyoung Kim] Hana Financial Group announced on the 28th that it held the Group Executive Candidate Recommendation Committee and the Affiliate Management Committee on the 27th and completed the recommendation of CEO candidates for five affiliates: Hana Life Insurance, Hana Savings Bank, Hana Asset Trust, Hana Fund Service, and Fink.
Kim In-seok, former Vice President of Hana Bank, was recommended as the new president of Hana Life Insurance, and Oh Tae-kyun, former Executive Director of Hana Bank, was recommended as the new president of Hana Fund Service.
For Hana Savings Bank, Hana Asset Trust, and Fink, the current presidents Oh Hwa-kyung, Lee Chang-hee, and Kwon Young-tak were each decided to be reappointed.
The CEO candidates of each company are scheduled to be appointed at the respective regular shareholders' meetings after mid-next month.
Kim In-seok, recommended as the new president of Hana Life Insurance, was born in 1963, graduated from Dankook University with a degree in Accounting, and joined Korea Exchange Bank in 1982. He served as head of the Corporate Business Department of the integrated Hana Bank, head of the Sejong Chungbuk Sales Headquarters, head of the Daejeon Sejong Sales Headquarters, Executive Director of the Corporate Business Headquarters, and General Vice President of the Central Sales Group 2.
Oh Tae-kyun, recommended as the new president of Hana Fund Service, was born in 1961, graduated from Cheongju University with a degree in Public Administration, and joined Korea Exchange Bank in 1988. He served as branch manager of Jamsil Station Branch, chief secretary, head of the Labor-Management Cooperation Department, HR head and executive director of the integrated Hana Bank, and executive director of the Sales Support Group.
