[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Seul-gi] KBS variety show 'The Return of Superman' ('Superman') has been embroiled in a script controversy, with the production team stating it was a "script for convenience."

On the 28th, the 'Superman' production team explained, "There is no script. As it is an observational variety show, a briefing document that organizes the content like a script for the convenience of the production team is created on-site in real-time, and what appeared in the video was that document." They added, "It was written by the writers on-site."

Earlier, on the 27th, 'Superman' released a preview featuring episodes of Sam, William, and Bentley on their official social network service (SNS) account. In the released video, a document containing the conversation among the three was captured. Some netizens speculated it was a script.

After confirming the controversy, the 'Superman' team re-uploaded the video with the document mosaic-censored, but as the controversy continued, they deleted the scene altogether.
