According to Seoul National University on the 28th, graduate student A from the Graduate School of Convergence Science and Technology was confirmed positive for COVID-19 while staying at their family home in Daejeon that morning.
A, who had been working remotely from a rented room in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province since the 22nd, took the school shuttle bus on the 25th to the dormitory building 904 on Seoul National University’s Gwanak Campus and stayed there for about three hours.
At that time, A used their dormitory room and the laundry room, and it was confirmed that there was no contact with other individuals.
On the following day, the 26th, A moved to and stayed at their family home in Daejeon, where they tested positive that morning.
Seoul National University closed some floors of dormitory building 1 and instructed residents to self-quarantine.
