[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] The Muan Fire Station in Jeonnam (Chief Park Won-guk) announced on the 28th that it is actively promoting preventive activities with the goal of reducing winter fire occurrences by 30% and achieving ZERO casualties.
The main safety policy initiatives include ▲ customized fire prevention that directly empathizes and communicates with residents ▲ visiting senior centers, checking the health of village elders, and providing preventive education ▲ broadcasting fire prevention tips using two large electronic billboards and 57 information systems at bus stops ▲ attaching fire extinguisher usage instructions to 23 county buses and 12 elementary school commuting vehicles ▲ reinforcing fire facilities in elderly care facilities (installing bed-ridden patient presence indicators, replacing detectors), among others.
Chief Park Won-guk said, “We will do our best in preventive activities to create fire administration services that communicate with the residents.”
