[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kang Juhee] Broadcaster Jeon Hyun-moo's girlfriend, announcer Lee Hye-seong, showcased her English skills.
On the 27th, KBS 2TV's 'Happy Together 4' (hereafter 'Happy Together 4') aired a one-month project titled 'Anyway, One Month - Study Edition' to find efficient study methods.
On this day, announcer Lee Hye-seong appeared as the English instructor for Yoo Jae-seok and Heo Jeong-min.
Lee Hye-seong said, "I took the TOEIC for the first time in middle school," adding, "I took the test as if I were studying English. At that time, I scored 930 points," surprising those around her.
When asked how many English words she memorized in a day when she memorized many, she revealed her secret: "I think I memorized several hundred words. Rather than setting aside specific time to memorize, I memorized during spare moments?while changing clothes during recordings, eating kimbap in the waiting room, and in middle and high school, I memorized by scribbling on the bathroom walls at school."
Jeon Hyun-moo was shy at Lee Hye-seong's appearance but soon explained, "Lee Hye-seong is not a Korean-American; she lived in the U.S. when she was young."
When Jo Se-ho asked, "It's a childish question, but since both of you are good at English, do you speak English when you date?" Jeon Hyun-moo replied, "Not really. I ask her. Since I only studied English in Korea, when I don't know certain expressions and ask about them, (Lee Hye-seong) corrects me."
Also, when it was mentioned that she watches cartoons without subtitles, Hong Jin-kyung expressed envy, saying, "You two are an intel couple."
