On the 26th, Disinfection Activities Around Sejong University International Students' Screening Clinic to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Seon-gap) conducted disinfection activities around the Sejong University international student screening clinic on the 26th, together with the local autonomous disaster prevention group composed of local residents, to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The Gwangjin-gu local autonomous disaster prevention group is composed of local residents and organizations willing to volunteer in each of the 15 neighborhoods for community safety. They plan to continue disinfection activities at multi-use facilities such as bus stops and parks, as well as densely populated areas within the district until the COVID-19 situation is resolved.
The disinfection of the Sejong University screening clinic conducted this time will be carried out continuously every Wednesday when the screening clinic operates.
Additionally, disinfection activities will be carried out upon residents' requests.
Mayor Kim Seon-gap said, "I thank the local autonomous disaster prevention group for actively participating to ensure the safety of the residents," and added, "As the infectious disease crisis alert has been raised to the 'serious' level, we will do our utmost to protect the residents during the COVID-19 crisis."
