Direct Flights Between Korea and Laos Temporarily Suspended in March... Entry Possible Only via Transit

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Hyun-joo] Direct flights connecting Korea and Laos will be temporarily suspended starting in March.

The Korean Embassy in Laos announced on the 27th that Lao Airlines, which operated daily direct flights to Laos, will suspend all operations from next month.

Additionally, the four domestic airlines with direct flights between the two countries?Air Busan, Jeju Air, Jin Air, and T'way Air?will all suspend operations in March.

Laos does not impose entry restrictions on Koreans, but travelers must undergo testing if they show symptoms such as fever upon arrival. If the test result is negative, they can be discharged after monitoring for three days.

Travel between the two countries will only be possible by transiting through other countries such as Thailand.
