Expectations for a Diverse Information and Communication Platform for 2030 Youth
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] On the 27th, Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced the publication of the inaugural issue of "Nongdam," a rural lifestyle web magazine for 2030 youth.
"Nongdam" introduces policies for young people living in Gokseong-gun, features interviews with local youth, and covers the adaptation stories of young people returning to farming and rural areas in Gokseong.
The inaugural issue includes an introduction to the Youth Growth support system, a youth support framework in Gokseong-gun. The Youth Growth support system is a communication and collaboration framework among various departments established by Gokseong-gun to effectively implement youth policies.
Also, from September to December last year, interviews with urban youth who settled in Gokseong through the 100-day Youth Collaboration program reveal their perspectives on rural life, its possibilities, and vivid life stories, which are quite engaging.
A Gokseong-gun official stated, “We expect the youth web magazine ‘Nongdam’ to provide useful information about Gokseong-gun’s youth policies to youth inside and outside the jurisdiction and to become a platform for communication together.”
