Recently, the company secured a total investment amounting to 22 million dollars.
Song Dae-won, Executive Director of Future Devices at LG Uplus, said, “The 5G network will be the best means to enable remote video conferencing in virtual reality through 3D avatars,” adding, “We will seek ways to transform customers’ daily lives through the infinite possibilities of extended reality.” Lee Jin-ha, co-founder of Spatial, predicted, “The collaboration among hardware, chipsets, and telecom companies will have a significant impact on AR technology innovation, similar to the mobile revolution brought by smartphones, high-speed internet, and app stores in the early 2000s.”
