[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ga-yeon] As the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) spreads domestically, causing a shortage of masks, actor Han Sang-jin raised his voice in criticism, saying the government's measures are insufficient.

On the 26th, Han Sang-jin wrote on his Facebook, "Masks and hand sanitizers! Basic quarantine supplies should have been managed by the government," adding, "The price of masks is unacceptable."

He strongly criticized the government, saying, "In this situation, if you can't control the supply and price of masks, what are you supposed to do? If you couldn't block the entry of Chinese nationals early on due to concerns about diplomatic disadvantages, at least the government needed to maintain a balance by managing basic quarantine supplies so that citizens wouldn't feel anxious."

He continued, "Mask inflation is happening, and now they are investigating merchants who exported masks to China," and said, "Shouldn't they first maximize mask production and alleviate the minimum anxiety citizens experience because of masks?"

He added, "Let's become a country where people, the citizens, come first," and "Stay strong, Daegu! Stay strong, Republic of Korea!"

Meanwhile, according to the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters, the number of additional confirmed cases in the morning and afternoon was 169 and 115, respectively. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 1,261.

One more death was reported on this day, increasing the total to 12. The 12th fatality was a 74-year-old male confirmed to be a member of the Shincheonji Daegu Church.

Masks and hand sanitizers!!!

Basic quarantine supplies

should have been

managed by the government..

The price of masks is unacceptable..

In this situation, if you can't

control the supply and price of masks,

what are you supposed to do..

Sigh...

If you couldn't block the entry of Chinese nationals early on

due to concerns about diplomatic disadvantages,

at least the government needed to maintain

a balance by managing basic quarantine supplies

so that citizens wouldn't feel anxious..

Mask inflation is happening,

and now they are investigating merchants

who exported masks to China,

but first, they should maximize mask production

and alleviate the minimum anxiety

citizens experience because of masks..

Truly, people...

Let's become a country where citizens come first!!

Stay strong, Daegu!!!

Stay strong, Republic of Korea!!!

but no one can be a hero alone."
