[Asia Economy Reporter Wondara] The Woori Bank headquarters located in Hoehyeon-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul, has been temporarily closed after it was confirmed that a confirmed case of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) had visited.


Woori Bank announced on the 26th that it had closed the basement level 1 of its headquarters in Hoehyeon-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul, starting from the morning of the same day. Woori Bank has first blocked the passageways and carried out disinfection measures. The entire headquarters will be thoroughly disinfected afterward.


This measure was taken following the confirmation that a COVID-19 confirmed patient had visited. According to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency, Assistant Pastor A of Myeongseong Church, who was diagnosed with COVID-19, visited a variety goods store located on the basement level 1 of the Woori Bank headquarters around 10 a.m. on the 19th.


Meanwhile, the Woori Bank branches in Daejeon Noeun and Incheon Bupyeong Financial Center, which had temporarily suspended operations from the 24th to the 25th, resumed business from this day.
