Provisional Postponement of the First Exam for Certified Appraisers Due to COVID-19 Spread

[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Won Moon] The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced on the 26th that the 1st stage of the 31st Certified Appraiser Qualification Examination, originally scheduled for the 7th of next month, will be tentatively postponed until after April.

This decision reflects the health authorities' opinion that the COVID-19 crisis alert has been raised to the 'serious' level and that the next one to two weeks are a critical period for the spread of the infectious disease, prioritizing the safety of examinees and preventing community spread.

Information regarding the exam postponement will be announced through the national qualification exam Certified Appraiser website and individual text messages to examinees.

The revised exam schedule will be separately announced at least one month prior to the scheduled exam date, considering the COVID-19 situation. The schedule for the 2nd stage exam will also be adjusted accordingly due to the change in the 1st stage exam schedule.
