Following the 30,000 masks provided on the 24th, another batch of quarantine supplies was supported to Gwangju, which is facing difficulties due to additional confirmed cases.
Park Byungho, Vice Governor of Jeonnam Province, said, "Although our region is in a critical situation with concerns about infection due to the recent spread of 'COVID-19', we will actively respond together to block infections in Gwangju and Jeonnam by supporting quarantine supplies to Gwangju, which shares the same living area."
Meanwhile, Jeonnam Province has so far provided masks and hand sanitizers to 55 screening clinics within the province, Muan Airport, Chinese international students, and vulnerable groups such as social welfare facilities. It also supplied 56,000 masks to the Jeonnam Medical Association and 20,000 masks to the Pharmaceutical Association.
Additionally, 32,000 masks were provided to taxi and bus workers within the province, and 10,000 masks were supplied to the Jeonnam Provincial Police Agency.
