[Asia Economy Golf Specialist Reporter Kim Hyunjun] "Steak, chicken fajitas, sushi, sashimi."

The menu for the upcoming Masters 'Champions Dinner' in April, hosted by the 'returning golf emperor' Tiger Woods (USA). In an interview with the U.S. Golf Channel on the 26th (Korean time), he introduced, "Chicken fajitas and sushi are foods I've enjoyed since childhood." Chicken fajitas are a Mexican dish where finely chopped chicken is wrapped in a tortilla with vegetables and sauce. He added, "I want to recreate the 2006 atmosphere" and "I'm considering including the milkshake I prepared as dessert in 1998."

The 'Champions Dinner' is a unique tradition where the Masters winner invites past champions to a meal the day before the tournament begins the following year. It was started by Ben Hogan (USA) in 1952. Woods has already worn the green jacket five times: in 1997, back-to-back wins in 2001-2002, 2005, and last year. Last year was a highlight. After overcoming a long injury, he won his 15th major title in 11 years since the 2008 US Open and was moved to tears.

It is interesting that Woods, the youngest Masters winner in 1998, chose foods that children like such as cheeseburgers, French fries, and milkshakes. He said, "These are foods I usually eat," and Byron Nelson did not complain, saying, "Anyway, these are foods you can't eat at home." In 2002 and 2003, he elevated the menu with steak, chicken breast, and sushi. In 2006, it evolved into beef fajitas with Mexican fried rice and grilled beans.

Woods recalled the thrilling memory, saying, "I was surprised by the flood of emails and congratulatory messages," and "I didn't expect people to react so explosively." Above all, he is proud that he shared the joy at the tournament venue with his daughter Sam and son Charlie. "The preparation process for this year's Masters will be similar to last year," he said, "I have a plan on how to prepare, and I hope to maintain the winning shot feel as it is," raising expectations.
