On the 21st, the Seocho District Council decided to postpone the extraordinary session schedule after an emergency chairperson meeting to actively respond to prevent the spread of COVID-19 following confirmed cases in the district, and stated that official events will also be minimized as much as possible.
Chairperson An Jongsuk emphasized, “I hope the executive branch will focus its administrative capabilities on preventing the spread of COVID-19 and alleviating residents' anxiety. The council will also cooperate for the life and safety of local residents and do its best to ensure that no additional infections occur.”
The 295th extraordinary session, originally scheduled for February 26 to March 2, is expected to be held sometime in March.
