Operation of Outdoor Air Purifier 'Malgeun Gonggi Air Dome' in Front of Exit 3, Yangjae Station, Gangnam-gu

Realizing a 필(Environmentally Essential) City with Outdoor Air Purifiers... Serving as Cooling, Dehumidifying, and Heated Chairs for Heatwave and Cold Shelter

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jeong Soon-gyun) has officially started operating the outdoor air purifier "Clear Air Air Dome," installed in front of Exit 3 of Yangjae Station last November, the first of its kind nationwide, from early this month.

The "Clear Air Air Dome," created in collaboration with the construction company Nth Company Co., Ltd., controls air density to form a dome-shaped air barrier that blocks the inflow of external fine dust and fills the interior with clean air. It automatically operates when the concentration of fine dust and ultrafine dust reaches a "bad" level.

Additionally, the Air Dome provides various functions such as displaying surrounding fine dust levels and internal/external temperatures, and wireless smartphone charging. When the external temperature exceeds 30°C, cooling and dehumidifying functions activate, and in winter, heated seats operate, allowing it to serve as a shelter during heatwaves and cold snaps.
