Co-habitant of Confirmed Case Tests 'Negative'... Four Close Contacts Undergoing Testing

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Incheon City announced the interim results of the epidemiological investigation on the 23rd regarding Ms. A (female, 61), who was confirmed positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) on the 22nd.
Ms. A is currently hospitalized in isolation at Incheon Medical Center, and her cohabitant Mr. B (male, 60) tested negative and is currently self-isolating at home.
The epidemiological investigation of Ms. A has identified four close contacts so far; testing is underway for them, and they are scheduled for self-isolation.
Additionally, the city disclosed Ms. A’s movement route.
On the afternoon of the 17th, Ms. A took the KTX from Dongdaegu Station to Seoul Station. She then transferred to the subway and arrived at Bupyeong Station, returning to her nearby home around 7 p.m. It was confirmed that she walked from the station to her home.
The next day, the 18th, Ms. A left her home at noon and walked to Oksulseonsik (a porridge shop) inside Bupyeong Market, returning home at 7:25 p.m. Oksulseonsik is known to be operated by her cohabitant Mr. B.
On the 19th, Ms. A again left home at 1 p.m., walked for 20 minutes to Oksulseonsik, and returned home at 7:40 p.m.
On the 20th, she left home at 12:30 p.m. and went to Oksulseonsik. At 6 p.m., she stopped by Green Joy (a clothing store) nearby, bought a T-shirt, and returned home 50 minutes later.
On the 21st, Ms. A visited Oksulseonsik at 1:10 p.m., then went to the Bupyeong District Public Health Center’s screening clinic at 2 p.m. to have a specimen collected. She returned home at 4 p.m., then went back to Green Joy to exchange a T-shirt, stopped by Oksulseonsik again, and returned home at 8 p.m. She traveled on foot on both the 20th and 21st.
The city has ordered a temporary closure of Bupyeong Traditional Market (Bupyeong General Market, Bupyeong Kkang Market, and Jinheung General Market), which were included in Ms. A’s movement route, from 5 p.m. on the 23rd until 5 p.m. on the 25th for 48 hours, and has begun disinfection and sanitation work.
Ms. A attended worship services at the Shincheonji Church in Daegu from the 14th to the 17th. After receiving a testing recommendation call from Daegu City, she visited the Bupyeong District Public Health Center for specimen collection and has been self-isolating since.
In Incheon, a 35-year-old Chinese woman who entered through Incheon Airport on the 19th of last month was the first confirmed case of the novel coronavirus in South Korea. This first domestic confirmed patient was treated in isolation at Incheon Medical Center and was discharged on the 6th after full recovery.
