[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Lim Juhyung] Actor Jeong Hogeun, who appeared on KBS 1TV's 'TV Loads Love,' opened up about the story of his two children who passed away.
Jeong Hogeun recently appeared on KBS 1TV's 'TV Loads Love.' The broadcast showed Jeong Hogeun searching for a senior from university who gave him his first leading role during his unknown days.
In the meantime, Jeong Hogeun also talked about his daughter and son whom he had lost in the past. He confessed, "If my eldest daughter were alive, she would be 25 years old," adding, "She was born weighing less than 700g. She grew up in an incubator, but perhaps due to weak immunity, she was diagnosed with pulmonary artery hypertension around 27 months."
He continued, "My daughter passed away while I was on my way to find a doctor in the United States," and added, "I couldn't see that moment beside her. When I talk about this, I tear up."
Regarding his son, he said, "My youngest was not healthy from the moment he was born," and "They said they had to operate on his small body, but the bleeding wouldn't stop. He died in my arms. I gave birth to five children and lost two," wiping his eyes.
Eventually, Jeong Hogeun succeeded in reuniting with his university senior, Lee Song, that day. He described Lee Song as "the senior who first recognized my acting potential," and explained, "He put me in the leading role on the theater stage when I was thirsty for acting."
Regarding this, Lee Song also said, "I was very worried about how to meet my younger brother, who has lived a painful life and has now become a shaman."
