[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Lim Juhyung] Singer Jo Myeongseop showcased his unique speech and singing style on MBC's entertainment program 'The Manager'.

On the 22nd broadcast of MBC's 'The Manager', trot prodigy Jo Myeongseop, known as the male Song Ga-in, appeared. On this episode, Jo Myeongseop introduced himself with his distinctive strong dialect.

When broadcaster Eun Ji-won asked, "Is your hometown in the northern region?" Jo Myeongseop replied, "Gangwon-do is in the northern area, so my accent naturally comes out strong."

MC Jeon Hyun-moo requested, "Please sing a verse," and Jo Myeongseop said, "Eun Ji-won will be surprised again," before passionately performing the song 'Shilla's Moonlit Night'. The cast admired his voice and vibrato, reminiscent of a phonograph recording.

Jo Myeongseop explained the reason he became a singer, saying, "(The dialect) is only used by me. My friends speak standard Seoul dialect," and "When I was 12, I happened to hear 'Shilla's Moonlit Night' while watching the news and was captivated."
