[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] Moon Seung-wook, Deputy Governor of Gyeongsangnam-do for Economic Affairs, announced on the 22nd that he visited Miryang Station to inspect the quarantine status of transportation facilities and encourage on-site workers as part of the COVID-19 response.
Deputy Governor Moon encouraged emergency workers and Korail employees who are working to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and also took time to listen to the difficulties faced by the workers.
Deputy Governor Moon said, "Miryang City is adjacent to Daegu and Gyeongbuk, raising concerns about regional spread," and added, "I hope Miryang city officials will do their best to prevent the inflow of COVID-19 by working together with the citizens."
Meanwhile, Miryang City has already completed the installation of thermal imaging cameras at Miryang Station to check the health status of visitors, and is making every effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19 by conducting disinfection and equipping thermal detection thermometers.
