According to health authorities on the 21st, Mr. A, who lives in Buk-gu, Gwangju, tested positive in a COVID-19 specimen test and was confirmed to be infected.

It is known that Mr. A visited the Daegu Shincheonji Church on the 16th along with Mr. B, Mr. C, and Mr. D, who were previously confirmed positive.

Mr. A, Mr. B, and Mr. C visited Daegu using the same vehicle, while Mr. D went to Daegu in his own car.

Mr. A received medical examination at the Buk-gu Public Health Center screening clinic around midnight the previous day. At that time, two specimens showed both positive and negative results, so after retesting, he was finally confirmed positive and was isolated in a negative pressure room at Chonnam National University Hospital.

Currently, two patients are receiving isolation treatment at Chonnam National University Hospital, and two are being treated at Chosun University Hospital.

The Gwangju city government and health authorities plan to conduct an epidemiological investigation.
