This brings the total number of deaths in the country to two.

The deceased patient (female, 56) died around 5 p.m. while being transferred from Cheongdo Daenam Hospital to Busan National University Hospital, which has a negative pressure ward.

The patient was in a psychiatric ward and was moved to a general internal medicine ward due to deteriorating condition the day before, where she was confirmed to have COVID-19.
