[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] Former Liberty Korea Party leader Hong Joon-pyo targeted former Prime Minister Lee Nak-yeon of the Democratic Party of Korea, who ran in Jongno-gu, Seoul on the 20th, saying, "The person responsible for the collapse of state affairs is acting as if he is not involved and is campaigning with a smile, but the residents of Jongno, the political hotspot, are not that foolish."

On the same day, Hong posted on his Facebook, "The most frightening thing during elections is anger voting," adding, "During the impeachment presidential election and local elections, we were thoroughly defeated by anger voting due to the judgment against the Korea Party."

He said, "If it were not so bad, I wouldn't have sung popular songs at the presidential campaign rally because the message was not getting through," and emphasized, "This time, it is the Moon Jae-in administration's turn to face anger voting by the people."

He continued, "Economic collapse, diplomatic isolation, suspicions of the upper echelons of the 'Druking' case, allegations of interference in the Ulsan mayoral election, the Cho Kuk incident, the unjust persecution of Prosecutor Yoon Seok-youl, and failure in COVID-19 quarantine have caused the anger of the entire nation to soar to the sky."

He added, "The April 15 general election is to judge the atrocities of the Moon Jae-in administration, which imprisoned two former presidents as political retaliation," and "We will achieve a landslide victory."
