On the 20th, former preliminary candidate Kim Han-chang, who was excluded from the primary, visited Woo Gi-jong's tent office.

Former preliminary candidate Kim Han-chang said, "Preliminary candidate Woo Gi-jong is diligent and faithful to the basics, so I think he will achieve a successful conclusion," and expressed his feelings to candidate Woo through a three-line acrostic poem.

He added, "I will also become a small grain of sand to play even a small role so that the Democratic Party's Mokpo primary looks beautiful."

In response, preliminary candidate Woo Gi-jong said, "I will do my best so that the person Mokpo desires can be chosen through a clean primary."

He continued, "Since former candidate Kim's love for Mokpo is consistent, I thank him for visiting me with a generous heart, cheering me on, and supporting me in his heart," while shaking Kim's hand.

Preliminary candidate Woo Gi-jong said, "I will take former candidate Kim Han-chang's intention not only as a preference for Woo Gi-jong but above all as a command to 'definitely revive Mokpo's economy.'"
