Jeonnam Postal Service, Nationwide Post Office's First Mother-Daughter DMRT 'Highlight'

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] A mother and daughter have become the first in the nation’s post offices to be selected for the MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table), drawing attention.

According to the Jeonnam Regional Post Office (Director Cho Haegun) on the 20th, MDRT is a global association headquartered in the United States, composed of insurance planners who earn high incomes (over 140 million KRW annually).

As of last year, there are 1,689 members nationwide, with 173 (10.2%) in the Korea Post, and among them, 11 (6.3%) in the Jeonnam Regional Post Office.

The Jeonnam Regional Post Office (Director Cho Haegun) held a commemorative plaque awarding ceremony on the 19th to encourage Han Changmi and her daughter Park Aryeon, the first mother and daughter MDRT members in the national post offices.

In particular, Park Aryeon earned the honor of MDRT for the first time just two years after being appointed as a post office FC.

Park said, “I live with greater pride than in any other profession,” and added, “In the future, I want to discover new FCs and share the value and happiness of life together.”

Cho Haegun, Director of the Jeonnam Regional Post Office, stated, “The post office will strive to become a national institution more necessary to the people, not only providing postal services but also deposit and insurance services for the common people,” and added, “A systematic development plan for post office FCs has also been prepared, so I hope unemployed people in our region will challenge themselves as post office FCs to achieve their dreams and hopes.”
