Meeting of Boseong Young Farmers' 'Internet Broadcasting'

Boseong-gun 4-H Federation Annual General Meeting Held

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Yongcheol] Boseong-gun 4-H Federation announced on the 20th that on the 18th, to prevent the spread of COVID-19, they held the annual general meeting in real-time via internet broadcasting instead of an in-person gathering.

In this video conference, the president (President Kim Youngcheon) opened a live broadcast, and members and related personnel participated in the broadcast, exchanging opinions through chat. The members discussed the 2020 activity plans of the 4-H Federation and shared schedules for volunteer activities. Additionally, members introduced new members to each other and shared spring farming information.

President Kim Youngcheon said, “It was good to have a lively meeting with members actively presenting their opinions more than usual,” and added, “Based on today’s meeting, we will strive to become an organization that positively influences rural communities through farming activities and volunteer work throughout the year.”

Meanwhile, the Boseong-gun 4-H Federation is an agricultural learning organization fostered by the Boseong-gun Agricultural Technology Center with the purpose of cultivating differentiated leading young farmers who achieve knowledge-based agricultural management.
