Emergency Countermeasure Meeting for Joint COVID-19 Response Held on the Morning of the 20th at Seongdong-gu Office Strategy Meeting Room with 7 Related Organizations of Seongdong-gu

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Seongdong-gu (Mayor Jeong Won-oh) has raised its emergency response system to the 'serious' level on the 19th following the occurrence of the 40th COVID-19 confirmed case, operating the 24-hour Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters and taking comprehensive measures.

On the 20th at 10:30 AM, representatives from seven related organizations in the area, including Jeong Won-oh, Mayor of Seongdong-gu, the President of Hanyang Women's University, the Superintendent of Seongdong-Gwangjin Office of Education, and the Chief of Seongdong Fire Station, gathered to discuss organic cooperation and response plans following the confirmed case.

They shared the COVID-19 infection situation and the current status of the Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters' response, focusing on step-by-step preventive measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in preparation for the arrival of Chinese international students.

Additionally, they established an emergency cooperation system for real-time information sharing and crisis response, committing to do their best to prepare joint countermeasures by each institution to prevent community transmission and spread.
