Gwangju Nambu Fire Station Promotes 'Voluntary Reporting Period for Dual Employment of Fire Facility Managers'

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Gwangju Nambu Fire Station announced on the 19th that it will operate a "Voluntary Improvement Period for Dual Employment of Fire Facility Managers" until April 16.

According to the Fire Facilities Act, fire facility managers are not allowed to be employed by two or more companies simultaneously.

If violations are voluntarily reported to the fire station during the voluntary improvement period, penalties under relevant laws can be exempted.

After the voluntary improvement period ends, a comprehensive investigation and crackdown will be conducted.

A Nambu Fire Station official stated, "The purpose of preventing dual employment of fire facility managers is to ensure that inspection duties on fire facilities of specific fire targets are performed diligently, thereby emphasizing dedication to the job and securing public safety," and added, "If you fall under dual employment, please be sure to inform the fire station."
