Chinese Red Cross to Deliver Supplies to Designated Hospitals in Wuhan
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Korean Air announced on the 19th that it has donated 40,000 KF94 masks to the Red Cross Society of China for residents of Wuhan (武漢), Hubei (湖北) Province, China, where the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) began.
The masks prepared by Korean Air were transported on flight KE855 bound for Beijing, China, on the same day. The Red Cross Society of China, which received the masks, plans to deliver them to designated hospitals in the Wuhan area.
A Korean Air official stated, "We hope that these masks will help the residents of the Wuhan area prevent COVID-19 and stay healthy, even if only a little."
