GS Construction Opens Cyber Model House for 'Cheongra Hills Xi' in Jung-gu, Daegu on the 21st and Begins Sales

[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] GS Construction announced on the 19th that it will open a cyber model house for Cheongra Hills Xi, located in 2478 Namsan 4-dong, Jung-gu, Daegu, through its website on the 21st and begin sales.

Cheongra Hills Xi is an apartment complex built by reconstructing the Daegu Namsan 4-dasi 5 district. It consists of 13 buildings with 3 basement floors to 29 above-ground floors, totaling 947 households. Among them, 656 households with exclusive areas ranging from 59 to 101㎡, excluding union members, will be supplied for general sale. The general sale units are mostly small to medium-sized, with ▲59㎡ 109 units ▲75㎡ 114 units ▲84㎡A 204 units ▲84㎡B 19 units ▲84㎡C 186 units ▲101㎡ 24 units, accounting for more than 96% of the total.

The subscription schedule starts with special supply on March 2, followed by first-priority subscription on March 3, and second-priority subscription on March 4. The announcement of winners will be on March 10, and the official contract will be held from March 23 to March 25 at the model house.

The Cheongra Hills Xi model house will be available online through the Xi and Cheongra Hills Xi websites and the Xi smartphone application. Visits to the model house will be allowed only for winners after the announcement of the subscription results. The cyber model house allows users to zoom in, zoom out, and rotate 360 degrees on images captured by virtual reality (VR) cameras in each unit of the actual model house to closely examine areas of interest. GS Construction will also upload a detailed introduction video of the model house, covering parts difficult to check in the cyber model house, to provide vivid information about Cheongra Hills Xi.

Cheongra Hills Xi is located within a 5-minute walk from Cheongra Hill Station, a transfer station for Daegu Subway Lines 2 and 3. It is close to Dalgubeol-daero, Daegu’s main arterial road, making it convenient to use bus routes connecting all over Daegu. Access to the complex via Namsan-ro and other roads is also easy.

Nearby educational institutions include Namsan Elementary School, Gyesung Elementary, Gyesung Middle, Gyeonggu Middle, Seongmyeong Girls’ Middle, and Gyeongbuk Girls’ High School. The area is notable for having many universities nearby, such as Keimyung University (Daemyeong Campus), Daegu University (Daemyeong-dong Campus), and Daegu National University of Education. Large shopping facilities like Hyundai Department Store, Dong-A Department Store, and Seomun Market are also adjacent, along with major hospitals including Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital, Yeungnam University Hospital, and Daegu Catholic University Hospital, providing abundant living infrastructure.

The complex is designed mainly with slab-type units to ensure good views and allow sunlight and ventilation even on lower floors. Instead of placing parking lots above ground, the surface space is designed with themed gardens blending greenery and resting areas, as well as children’s playgrounds scattered throughout the complex. The community facility, Xi-an Center, will include a fitness center, GX room, golf practice range, sauna, and meeting rooms.

Jung-gu, Daegu, where Cheongra Hills Xi is located, is a non-regulated area, allowing first-priority subscription even if the applicant is not the head of the household, provided the deposit conditions are met. It is also possible to apply for first-priority subscription even if the applicant owns a house. Loan regulations are not strict, and the resale restriction period is relatively short at six months.

The adjacent Namsan 4-4 district’s ‘Namsan Xi Haneulchae’ recorded a competition rate of 84.34 to 1 in the early 1st priority subscription last year, with 46,469 applicants for 551 units (excluding special supply). Xi apartments are also planned for nearby redevelopment areas such as Daemyeong 3-dong and Wondae-dong 3-ga, forming a ‘Xi brand town’ in this area.

The model house is located near Duryu Station on Daegu Subway Line 2 in Duryu-dong, Dalseo-gu, Daegu, and visits will be allowed only for winners after the announcement upon document submission. Move-in is scheduled for January 2023.
