[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] Global sports brand FILA announced on the 19th that it has collaborated with Spectrum, a famous streetwear select shop located in Milan, Italy, to launch a collaboration collection.
Spectrum is a streetwear select shop rooted in graffiti and hip-hop culture, which opened in Milan, Italy in 2009. Sharing the common origin of being born in Italy, FILA and Spectrum drew inspiration from the 1990s FILA archives and hip-hop culture to create this collection.
The theme of the collection is "street fashion," showcasing Spectrum’s unique street culture alongside FILA’s heritage and aesthetics that have continued for over 100 years.
The collection features bold colors and design details such as collaboration tabs and lettering that combine elements from both brands. The collection includes apparel and accessories such as half-zip pullovers, hoodies, sweatshirts, long and short sleeve t-shirts, hip sacks, and bucket hats, all reflecting collaboration tabs, triangle logos, and graphic fonts on rich colors like green, purple, yellow, and dark red.
The collaboration collection will be sold in limited quantities at FILA’s official online mall and 62 major FILA stores nationwide, including the FILA Itaewon Megastore.
A FILA representative stated, “The two brands united to reinterpret the long-accumulated heritage and archives, aiming for a unique and valuable project. This collaboration, born from the common denominator of Italy, is expected to offer a new sensibility to those seeking a distinctive style.”
