[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ga-yeon] Son Heung-min (28, Tottenham) will undergo surgery for a fractured right arm.


Tottenham Hotspur, the team Son Heung-min belongs to, announced on the 18th (Korean time) through their official website that Son Heung-min has been injured.


Tottenham stated, "Son Heung-min was confirmed to have a fracture in his right arm, which he complained of pain during the Aston Villa match, and will undergo surgery this week. After the surgery, Son Heung-min will do his best in rehabilitation for several weeks according to the medical team's judgment."


Local media such as The Sun predicted that Son Heung-min will be out for two months due to the injury.
