Seoul Transportation Hub 'Ssangyong The Platinum Seoul Station' Sale Announcement

Seoul Transportation Hub 'Ssangyong The Platinum Seoul Station' Sale Announcement

[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Jiwon] Ssangyong Construction announced on the 18th that it will begin pre-selling the officetel "Ssangyong The Platinum Seoul Station," scheduled to be built near Seoul Station in the central business district of Seoul on the 21st.

This officetel, located at 363 Jungnim-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul, will consist of one building with 7 basement floors and 22 above-ground floors, with exclusive areas ranging from 17 to 32.74㎡. All 576 units are designed as duplexes.

It is considered the biggest beneficiary of the northern station area development and the construction of an underground complex transfer center, which are key elements of the Seoul Station comprehensive development plan (master plan).

It is located between Seoul Station, accessible via Subway Lines 1, 4, Gyeongui-Jungang Line, Airport Railroad, and KTX, and Chungjeongno Station, served by Lines 2 and 5, providing excellent transportation.

Considering the GTX-A line scheduled to open in 2023, the GTX-B line that passed the preliminary feasibility study, and the extension of the Shinansan Line, it is expected to become a core transportation hub in Seoul in the future.

A Ssangyong Construction official explained, "Officetels in Seoul's central business district are highly scarce products with abundant rental demand," adding, "Unlike apartments, they are not related to subscription points and are free from government regulations such as the pre-sale price ceiling system."

Meanwhile, Ssangyong Construction is operating a cyber model house to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus. The offline model house will be disinfected daily, and a thermal detector will be installed at the entrance to restrict access to those suspected of having a fever, while emergency medical services will be provided for urgent patients.
