[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] YJM Games announced on the 18th that its affiliate One Immers has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with All About Sportech to develop a baseball training business.
One Immers is the largest VR developer in Korea, providing 10 types of self-developed content at over 200 stations across 10 countries worldwide. Its popular VR games include "My Town: Zombie," "My Town: Skyfall," "My Town: Diet Smash," and "Dessert Slice."
All About Sportech, founded by CEO Donghwan Seo, a former player of Doosan and Samsung Lions, possesses an excellent industry network and is conducting various projects for nurturing professional baseball talent based on specialized training systems and customized curricula.
Through this MOU, One Immers will be responsible for producing VR content for baseball training, while All About Sportech will plan and operate professional training curricula and businesses through collaboration with professional players, batting coaches, and other baseball experts.
A representative of One Immers stated, "With the activation of 5G, VR content will replace many aspects of daily life in the future," adding, "We have high expectations that VR content will bring positive effects in the sports field through this collaboration."
